320 Students of SMPN 289 Get Fire-handling Training

320 members of Pramuka in SPMN 289, Sukapura Urban Village, Cilincing are undergoing fire-handling training held by North Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept., Sunday (10/7).

North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-dept. Head, Satriadi Gunawan stated that it is participated by seventh up to ninth grade students and held in the sidelines of the weekend camping (Persami).

Fire Training Given to 40 Residents of LagoaTraining materials provided include, how to handle fire gas stoves, put out fire using simple tools and techniques using APAR. In addition, they are also socialized about the dangers of fires to be more aware and caring.
"Hopefully Pramuka can also become agents of change to overcome the problem of fires in Jakarta," he said.
